Finance & credit
Project finance and bank loan facilitation
Most MSME projects in Odisha aren't funded entirely out of pocket — a term loan for machinery and a working-capital limit from a bank or NBFC usually make up the rest of the means of finance. Getting that sanctioned depends on the same document a subsidy claim needs: a bankable Detailed Project Report.
Why the DPR is the starting point
A bank's credit appraisal team works from your project report to assess technical feasibility, the promoter's means and margin contribution, the debt-service coverage ratio across the loan tenure, and the security/collateral position. A DPR built to a lender's format — cost of project, means of finance, loan and moratorium schedule, working-capital cycle, and year-on-year DSCR — moves faster through appraisal than one built only for a subsidy filing. Our DPR engine produces both from the same numbers.
What we help with
Bank loan facilitation, as we price it, is documentation, submission, query handling and follow-up with the lender — never a percentage of the loan amount, and never a promise of sanction, which is always the bank's decision. In practice that covers: assembling the loan application file alongside the DPR, responding to the bank's appraisal queries, and tracking the file through to disbursement.
Credit-linked schemes worth knowing
Several central schemes change the terms a bank can offer — collateral-free guarantees, subsidised margin money, or concessional interest — depending on the promoter's category and the loan size. Each has real eligibility conditions and open questions we've flagged rather than glossed over; see the full page for each before relying on a specific figure.
Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE)
Credit guarantee on collateral-free lending to micro and small enterprises. Confirmed cover (effective for guarantees approved on/after 1 April 2025): Micro enterprises 85% up to ₹5 lakh, 75% from ₹5 lakh–₹10cr; a flat 90% for women entrepreneurs and MSEs promoted by Agniveers; a flat 85% for SC/ST, PwD, aspirational-district, ZED-certified and transgender-owned units; 80% flat for NER/J&K/Ladakh; 75% flat for all other borrowers. A further +5% applies in RBI-identified credit-deficient districts.
PM Mudra Yojana

Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP)
Margin money subsidy — General category: 25% rural / 15% urban (10% own contribution). Special category: 35% rural / 25% urban (5% own contribution).
PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME)
Credit-linked subsidy of 35% of eligible project cost for individual micro food enterprises. SHG seed capital ₹40,000 per member, group support up to ₹4 lakh.
What we don't do
We're not a lender, an NBFC or a loan broker, and we don't take a percentage of any loan we help document — that fee structure creates an incentive to push you toward a bigger loan than your project needs, which isn't how we want to be paid. Sanction, interest rate and tenure are always the bank's decision, not ours.
Tell us your project cost and category, and we'll flag which schemes are worth pursuing alongside your bank loan — before the DPR is even finalised.
